The Boyana Waterfall is the highest waterfall in Vitosha. It is about 25 meters high and is formed by the Boyana River. Its waters fall from a rather relief rock crown - an andesite rock crown.

The waterfall is located in the northern parts of Vitosha, descending along the Boyana River, which springs from the northern slopes of Vitosha, under Cherni Vrah.

The waterfall itself is located at an altitude of 1260 meters above sea level, deep into Vitosha, and next to it there is a beautiful eco-trail, which begins in the Boyana district in the southern parts of Sofia.

The Boyana Waterfall is also a favorite place for climbers. There are a total of 16 climbing routes. They have interesting names such as ''Dry Fish'', ''Rat King'', ''Aurora'' and others.
