Visit

The Church of St. Paraskeva in Sofia is a Bulgarian Orthodox church located at 58 Georgi Rakovski Blvd, and the third-largest church in the capital. Plans for its construction began in 1909, but the Balkan Wars and World War I delayed building. Designed by architect Anton Tornyov, the main structure was completed and consecrated in 1930, with finishing works continuing until 1940. Dedicated to Saint Paraskeva, the church is notable for its unusual design and excellent acoustics.
