North Park

The park was designed and built in the late 1960s and early 1970s on the site of the cultivated lands of the village of Vrabnitsa. The house of the former large landowner and founder of the village of Vrabnitsa is located at the beginning of the park, next to the power plant (now the home of his descendants, the architects Lozanov family, parents of Assoc. Prof. Georgi Lozanov, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Kultura newspaper and Chairman of the Council for Electronic Media. At the beginning of the forest part of the park is the sundial, unique for Sofia. On the side of the sundial, interesting children's facilities have also been built - mainly for climbing, suitable for children over eight years of age.
