The Obradovtsi Monastery of Saint Mina is located near Sofia, in the Obradovtsi district. It was likely founded in the seventeenth century on earlier foundations. Destroyed and rebuilt several times during the Ottoman period, the present church dates from 1942. The monastery is active, renowned for its miracle-working icon of Saint Mina and its annual feast on November 11 celebrations.
