The building of the Rectorate of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" is a significant architectural monument for our city, built with donations from the brothers Evlogiy and Hristo Georgievi. Designed in the neo-baroque style with elements of classicism by the French architect Henri Bresson, for a number of reasons the construction of it was not carried out and the Ephorate, according to the will of the donors, assigned arch. Yordan Milanov to revise his project. The building of the Rectorate according to Bresson's project has only a representative character, while arch. Y. Milanov focused more on its practical effect. It was completed and consecrated on December 16, 1934 and since then remains one of the most beautiful buildings in Sofia.
