Complex "Bulgaria" on Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd. in Sofia, opened in 1937, is an emblematic architectural monument of culture of national importance. It was designed by architects Stancho Belkovski and Ivan Danchov in the style of modernism. It combines a hotel, a concert hall and a pastry shop, distinguished by innovative technical solutions for its time, such as a restaurant with an opening transparent roof and drop-down display windows of the pastry shop.
