The National Stadium "Vasil Levski" is the largest sports facility in Bulgaria, located in the center of Sofia, with a capacity of 43,230 seated spectators. Opened in 1953 and modernized in 2002, it is the main home of the national football team and hosts derby matches as well as athletics competitions. It holds a four-star category rating from UEFA. The National Stadium "Vasil Levski" has 14 sports halls - judo, rhythmic gymnastics, basketball, boxing and others.
