St. Joseph Catholic Cathedral in Sofia was built in 1880 as the main church of the Latin Catholic community.
It was destroyed during the 1944 bombings and rebuilt, being solemnly consecrated in 2006.
Today it serves as the cathedral of the Sofia-Plovdiv Diocese.
