To celebrate the Christmas holidays, Visit Sofia invites residents and visitors to enjoy a free festive journey aboard beautifully restored Ikarus, Chavdar and Mercedes heritage buses.
On 21, 26 and 28 December 2025, specially decorated vintage buses will travel through the heart of Sofia, offering passengers a unique opportunity to experience the city's festive atmosphere from the comfort of historic vehicles.
The route begins and ends at St. Alexander Nevsky Square (Stop No. 6439). Buses will operate every 25 minutes, with the first departure at 2:35 p.m. and the final journey at 7:10 p.m.
The rides are free of charge and available until all seats are occupied.
