From 28 to 30 July 2026, the large-scale “Friendship on Wheels” mural is being created in central Sofia as an initiative dedicated to active lifestyles and urban cycling.

Located at 35 Slavyanska Street, the mural is the work of graffiti artist and muralist Yoan Tsenkov – JahOne. The project is inspired by the sense of freedom and ease associated with cycling and promotes the bicycle as a natural and sustainable alternative for getting around the city.

The mural is 15 metres high and covers approximately 90 sq. m. The project aims not only to encourage an active lifestyle but also to transform the urban environment through contemporary art.

The initiative is organised by the Visionary Foundation and Sofia – European Capital of Sport and continues the message of active living associated with the legendary Giro d’Italia cycling race.

The mural will be officially unveiled on 30 July at 6:00 PM.
