Operation Cinema Sofia is a special edition of the travelling “Sofia Film Fest On the Road” programme, organised by the Sofia International Film Festival. The project brings free film screenings to settlements on the outskirts of Sofia Municipality, giving local audiences the opportunity to enjoy selected films on the big screen.

The initiative is supported by Sofia Municipality’s Culture Programme as part of the “Sofia – UNESCO Creative City of Film” programme.

On 27 August at 8:30 PM, the animated film “Titina”, directed by Norwegian filmmaker Kajsa Næss, will be screened in the main square of Svetovrachene, Novi Iskar District.

Inspired by a true story, the film follows the adventures of Titina, a little dog who becomes a worldwide celebrity and travels with her owner all the way to the North Pole.
