Mar 1, 2026 12:00 AM / Dec 31, 2026 12:00 AM

Discover the hidden beauty of minerals and their fascinating luminescence at the Earth and Man National Museum in Sofia.

A special display in the permanent “Minerals of the Earth” exhibition demonstrates how different minerals react to ultraviolet light of different wavelengths.

Visitors can control the light show themselves and discover the spectacular colours and glow revealed by the minerals.

The project was implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture.
